Always Be Closing – Artangel networking event

In this video, Ryan Murray, Interaction Associate at Artangel, takes us behind the scenes of a special event he organised for his fellow graduates on the DCMS Jerwood Creative Bursaries scheme.

Fourteen people were invited to Artangel to experience an afternoon of impromptu networking in a treasure hunt with a twist.
Participants were split into pairs and took on the task of generating new leads, networking for future events and gaining advice about working in the industry by talking to arts “professionals”.
Engaging with three characters, in three separate locations, at very specific times, the participants were thrown in at the deep end. They had to effectively develop and use time management skills and explore working intuitively.
Little did they know that the characters they were meeting were in fact actors…
