Below are a range of assets for you to share across your social media channels and show you are Here For Culture too.

We want these to be used to raise awareness of the £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund and to encourage arts, film and culture organisations to get their bids in for a share of the money available to help sectors to weather the storm of the coronavirus pandemic.

And remember to use the #HereForCulture and #CultureRecoveryFund hashtags in your posts.

About #HereForCulture

  • Culture creates jobs, supports livelihoods, and brings joy to everyone. The UK leads the world in the creative industries and we can all feel pride in that.
  • Our culture has been there for us, which is why at this critical moment, it’s vital we’re here for it.
  • As part of the biggest ever one-off investment in UK culture, the #HereForCulture campaign has been launched to help support Britain’s globally renowned arts, culture and heritage industries.
  • Through the £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund, the Government has shown it is here for culture in all kinds of communities, and will provide the help that the arts and heritage sectors need to keep going through the coronavirus crisis.
  • As part of the fund, we are now asking arts, film and culture organisations to get their bids in for a share of more than £600 million worth of grants available at this stage through Arts Council England, the British Film Institute, Historic England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
  • While we’re working fast to get funding out there in record time so that we can protect our culture for the public and those who work in it, we also need the public to play their part too.
  • We need people to return to their local cinemas, buy tickets for that socially distanced music performance, or visit museums, galleries or heritage sites in their areas.
  • By enabling more venues to welcome visitors again, we won’t just benefit the industry, but also communities across the country.

Find out more about how your organisation can apply for a grant.

In the creative industries, the UK leads the world and we can all feel pride in that – especially here at [insert organisation]. Our culture has been there for us, which is why at this critical moment, it’s vital we’re here for it.

As part of the biggest ever one-off investment in UK culture, the Government have launched the #HereForCulture campaign, to help support Britain’s globally renowned arts, culture and heritage industries.

Through the £1.57 billion Culture Recovery Fund, the Government has shown it is here for culture in all kinds of communities, and will provide the help that the arts and heritage sectors need to keep going through the coronavirus crisis.

In support of the campaign, we are proud to say we are Here For Culture. But we can’t do it alone and now more than ever, we need the public to play their part too.

As we open our doors once again, we need the public to come back and book to see the brilliant culture available to them in the UK, and by enabling visitors again, we won’t just benefit the industry, but also the communities across the country.
